My name is Phil Taylor.
I am a resident of Ealing, West London and have been for 24 years. I have been an active member of the Conservatives in Ealing since 1989.
I am a househusband and a councillor for the Northfield ward. I was elected on 4th May 2006. I was the portfolio holder for Customer and Community Services until the Conservatives lost power in Ealing this year. Now I am a back bench opposition councillor. My main political responsibility is chairing the CPZ scrutiny panel which will be looking in detail at how the borough does CPZs over the course of last year and into 2011.
This site reflects my own personal views and not those of the council, the local Conservatives or any other organisation.
This blog is a way for me to track various issues that get me exercised. Don’t take it too seriously! I hope that you enjoy my work.
Yours,
Phil Taylor

The first seat I stood for was Ealing Southall in 2001. Very interesting website and very informative.
